Caractérisé pour être une proposition fraîche, organique et éclectique, « Vengo de Frente Vol I & II » est une œuvre discographique construite à partir d’éléments Afro-Latins, Pop-Rock, Afro-Beat et Dance Hall.
Une production qui se distingue par sa cohésion et sa maturité ainsi que par son format et sa structure musicale. MATEO apporte un son authentique, assumé et accessible. Avec un premier lancement de 5 titres en 2020 (Vengo De Frente Vol I), l’œuvre a marqué une tendance dans la scène locale canadienne en obtenant la reconnaissance de « Révélation Radio Canada 2020- 2021 » dans la catégorie Musique du monde, matériel qui, bien qu’étant entièrement en espagnol, a réussi à captiver et à traverser les frontières en positionnant MATEO comme une figure de la « scène latine New Vibe ».
Six nouvelles chansons ont été ajoutées à ce premier opus pour avoir un album complet de 11 morceaux ainsi que pour donner une touche finale à la direction sonore du projet.
Il est à noter qu’en plus de la voix particulière de MATEO, le travail avec les musiciens qui composent le projet a eu une grande influence sur son identité puisque la richesse et le contexte multiculturel canadien ont permis l’inclusion du jamaïcain Dan Fyah Beats sur la batterie, le cubain Hanser Santos Gómez aux percussions, le guitariste péruvien / canadien Tito Sono et le bassiste colombien Diego Cruz Lora. Un mélange d’ingrédients qui, sous la production de Leon Yehoudah Perez (Azul Rojo Music), a réussi à intégrer les éléments nécessaires pour donner la touche finale aux compositions de MATEO.

Characterized for being a fresh, organic, and eclectic proposal, “Vengo de Frente Vol I & II” is an album built from Afro-Latin, Pop-Rock, Afro-Beat, and Dance Hall elements.
A production that stands out for its cohesion and maturity as well as for its format and musical structure. MATEO brings an authentic, assumed, and accessible sound. With the first release of 5 tracks in 2020 (Vengo De Frente Vol I), the work marked a trend in the local Canadian scene by obtaining the recognition of « Revelation Radio Canada 2020-2021 » in the category World music, material which, despite being entirely in Spanish, managed to captivate and cross borders by positioning MATEO as a figure in the “Latin New Vibe scene”.

It should be noted that in addition to the particular voice of MATEO, the work with the musicians who make up the project had a big influence on its identity since the richness, as well as the Canadian multicultural context, allowed the inclusion of the Jamaican Dan Fyah Beats on drums, Cuban Hanser Santos Gómez on percussion, Peruvian/Canadian guitarist Tito Sono and Colombian bassist Diego Cruz Lora.
