Homegrown Harvest presents a totally new genre of event: a day rave in the midst of winter. For the occasion, SAT’s interior space will be transformed into a jungle of lights and plants covered by a humid fog.
Umfang
Co-fondatrice du collectif Discwoman, Umfang, est née dans le Bronx, a grandi au Kansas et vit à Brooklyn depuis 2010. Elle organise la résidence mensuelle Technofeminism au Bossa Nova Civic Club, axée sur les talents émergents. Elle aime jouer avec les attentes des gens sur la manière de définir un set techno. Ses productions polyrythmiques ont été récemment publiées sur Ninja Tune.
Discwoman co-founder Umfang was born in the Bronx, grew up in Kansas and has been living in Brooklyn since 2010. She holds a monthly residency Technofeminism at Bossa Nova Civic Club focusing on emerging talent. She enjoys playing with people’s expectations of how a techno set can be defined. Her amorphous polyrhythmic productions have been most recently released on Ninja Tune.
Ciel
Ciel est productrice de musique, DJ, pianiste et animatrice de radio. Née à Xi’an et installée à Toronto, Ciel est la créatrice de Work in Progress, une série de concerts donnant la priorité aux femmes; co-fondatrice de la plateforme d’événements pluridisciplinaires immersifs It’s Not U It’s Me et copropriétaire du label Parallel Minds.
Ciel is a Xi’an-born and Toronto-based music producer, DJ, pianist, and radio presenter. She is the creator of Work in Progress, a women-artist-prioritizing concert series in Toronto; a co-founder of the immersive multidisciplinary events platform It’s Not U It’s Me; and a co-owner of Toronto electronic music label Parallel Minds.
Kris Guilty
Kris Guilty est le fondateur du magasin de disques et label La Rama. Ses DJ sets éclectiques aux frontières de la house, du funk et du boogie sont l’occasion de découvrir son impressionnant arsenal de disques. Maître incontesté du groove, Kris est aussi un sorcier certifié pour trouver l’alchimie avec des disques plus pointus, le tout complété par sa maîtrise impeccable du deejaying sur vinyl.
Kris Guilty is the founder and head of La Rama, a record store and label based in Montreal’s Mile End district. His unsurprisingly extensive and well-curated record arsenal is complemented by an impeccable command of vinyl deejaying and crowd-reading.
