At the heart of this selection, the legendary Simeon ten Holt offers a hypnotic, intuitive writing that profoundly shaped European minimalism. In contrast, the works of Neutkens and Swart reveal a more introspective and textural approach to sound. Arnold Marinissen, composer and percussionist, offers a music in which rhythm becomes a physical and theatrical language. The program also includes two singular voices spanning Canada and the Netherlands. Edward Top, trained in both countries, develops a music rich in tensions and colours.
