Niché dans de petits espaces, l’album phare de NARCY, To Be An (Arab), est une exploration de l’intelligence émotionnelle en opposition à l’intelligence artificielle. Dans le cadre d’une séance de thérapie autodirigée, NARCY interagit avec un bot de thérapie IA, nommé N.O.O.R. (joué par Dj Nooriyah), naviguant à travers ses complexités, ses problèmes avec l’industrie de la musique, la représentation culturelle et, finalement, sa masculinité. Ce projet de 60 minutes est divisé en deux parties, reflétant la dualité de NARCY en tant qu’artiste.
MAKTABA proposera un pop-up dans l’espace adjacent (Galerie 1) exposant des œuvres d’art uniques liées à l’album, en plus de tenir la prévente de l’album en vinyle, des livres et autres items de marchandise. Passez dire bonjour!
Nestled in small spaces, NARCY’s flagship album, To Be An (Arab), is an exploration of emotional intelligence versus artificial intelligence. In a self-directed therapy session, NARCY interacts with an AI therapy bot, named N.O.O.R. (played by Dj Nooriyah), navigating through his complexities, his issues with the music industry, cultural representation and, ultimately, his masculinity. The 60-minute project is divided into two parts, reflecting NARCY’s duality as an artist.
