Le Duo RockAfrika est né d’une collaboration du chanteur, claviériste, auteur, compositeur et interprète, Guy Mapoko, et le percussionniste Moise Yawo Matey.
Dotés d’un répertoire basé sur des compositions originales et de grands classiques, ils ont su repousser les limites de leurs instruments, pour sortir une sonorité musicale rock et vocale renversante, teintée de couleurs et saveurs africaines. Un son riche en texture, enveloppant et puissant !
Le RockAfrika c’est du Rock’n Blues aux couleurs et saveurs d’Afrique où la voix rockailleuse et les doigts magiques aux claviers de Guy Mapoko s’entremêlent avec les mains envoûtantes, sur les percussions africaines de Moise Yawo Matey pour vous charmer, bercer, planer, voyager, réchauffer enfin danser.
C’est un mélange du feu, de la terre, de l’eau et de l’air.
The RockAfrika Duo was born from the collaboration of the singer, keyboardist, author, composer and performer, Guy Mapoko, and the percussionist Moise Yawo Matey.
