Serge Fiori – Seul ensemble, nouvelle mouture du spectacle présenté pour la première fois le 6 mars 2019 au Théâtre St-Denis, propose une relecture audacieuse et visuelle de l’œuvre de Serge Fiori. On y retrouve ses moments forts, enrichis de nouveaux passages inspirés des sept dernières années, dont Kwe!, un projet musical dont Serge était particulièrement fier. La musique demeure le fil conducteur du spectacle. Revisitées par Louis-Jean Cormier, Alex McMahon et Guillaume Chartrain, les chansons intemporelles de Serge continuent d’unir les générations et de nourrir l’imaginaire collectif. Le Cirque Éloize, complice de la création originale, est de retour sous la direction de Benoit Landry (Chicago) qui revisitera la mise en scène.Quant aux décors, détruits lors du déluge du 16 août 2024, ils seront entièrement repensés pour offrir une scénographie renouvelée. Serge Fiori – Alone Together, a new version of the show first presented on March 6, 2019, at Théâtre St-Denis, offers a bold and visually rich reinterpretation of Serge Fiori’s body of work. It features his greatest moments, enhanced with new passages inspired by the past seven years, including Kwe!, a musical project that Serge held particularly dear. Music remains the guiding thread of the performance. Revisited by Louis-Jean Cormier, Alex McMahon, and Guillaume Chartrain, Serge’s timeless songs continue to unite generations and fuel the collective imagination. Cirque Éloize, a collaborator on the original creation, returns under the direction of Benoit Landry (Chicago), who will reimagine the staging. As for the sets, destroyed during the flood of August 16, 2024, they will be entirely redesigned to offer a renewed scenography.
