As part of the Souk du Sud Festival, we invite you to discover an artist who has chosen to build her career both on stage and behind the scenes in the cultural world. Borduas, whose real name is Vanessa Borduas, is a singer-songwriter and cultural entrepreneur. Alongside her artistic career, she founded Productions Flèche, a company that supports independent artists in developing their careers and producing and marketing their projects.
Through initiatives such as La Tournée Escale and La Boîte créative, Vanessa also helps create spaces for artists to showcase their work, create, and connect with one another.
Her journey offers food for thought on the realities of being an artist today: how to develop one’s artistic identity, promote one’s work, and create the conditions necessary to advance one’s career.
