As part of their Canadian tour, the award-winning Swedish ensemble Stenhammar Quartet will perform two concerts in the metropolis. Featured on October 27 as part of Le Vivier’s programming, they will present Tales of Strength, a program featuring works from the 20th and 21st centuries on the theme of resilience and the human will to overcome life’s trials. On November1, in the live@CIRMMT series, they also collaborate with Canadian-Swedish composer Örjan Sandred to reinvent live electronic music, notably through the use of artificial intelligence.
