Born in Egypt, raised in Australia and living in UK, Joseph Tawadros is an oud virtuoso who’s not going unnoticed in Montreal this week. As part of the OSM’s Virée classique 2024’s first major evening at the Olympic Park on August 14, he played two of his works with the orchestra and Rafael Payare, and will do the same on Saturday August 17, 4h30 PM with Ensemble Obiora. This very special musicien has absolutely no limits, he plays with classical musicians as well as jazz players or even punk rockers.
