Additional Information
Like other local jazz artists—such as Hugo Blouin, Cédric Dind-Lavoie, and Sébastien Sauvageau (L’Oumigmag)—the Solarium Quartet blends traditional Quebec, French, and Celtic music with contemporary jazz. Louis Plouffe on saxophones, Karl-André Rozankovic on piano and keyboards, Vincent Dessureault on double bass and bass, and Léo Minville on drums and guitar are dedicated to blending our Francophone cultural heritage in the Americas with a universal language: jazz. Karl-André and Léo explain their approach and the trend, as well as the story of their journey and their recent live recording.
Solarium will perform at the FIJM 2026 on July 4 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Pub Molson
