After only two years of classical guitar, the young musician Tommy Dupuis realised that he was destined for this instrument rather than the electric guitar he had been practicing for much longer. At the Classica Festival 2026, on Sunday, June 14, the young man will present his concert THE MANY SOUNDS OF THE GUITAR: from Bach to the present day during which he hopes to showcase everything his instrument is capable of. A program that ranges from Bach to African Sketches, tunes inspired by the Balkans, Albéniz, the music of a young Quebec composer, and many others. I met with Tommy Dupuis to talk about his budding career and his musical program.
