Laurent Bellemare
Laurent Bellemare est détenteur d’un diplôme de maîtrise en musicologie à l’Université de Montréal. Actif comme musicien au sein de divers ensembles, il est notamment chanteur de death metal (Growlers Choir, Sutrah, Serocs, Chthe'ilist) et percussionniste (Gamelan Giri Kedaton, Kumpa'nia, Basalte). Sa spécialisation en traditions musicales de l’Indonésie l’a amené à séjourner dans ce pays lors de l’année académique 2016-2017. Il a récemment complété la rédaction d’un mémoire portant sur la naturalisation du gamelan indonésien dans trois villes canadiennes (Montréal, Toronto et Vancouver). Laurent est également père de famille, fan de science-fiction et antispéciste.
