Les œuvres prennent une nouvelle ampleur, portées par la richesse orchestrale et par le groupe rock Too Many Cooks. Menée par Richard D’Anjou et Dan Georgesco, la formation sherbrookoise déploie une énergie et une couleur vocale qui rappellent avec justesse l’univers de Sting. Singer-songwriter Sting is an iconic figure in the history of music. From his years with The Police to a globally acclaimed solo career, his songs have marked generations, blending rock, melodic finesse, and timeless emotion. The Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke, in co-production with the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke, presents a symphonic reinterpretation of this legendary repertoire, featuring pieces such as Englishman in New York, Roxanne, If You Love Somebody Set Them Free, and Every Breath You Take. These works take on new depth, carried by rich orchestration and the rock band Too Many Cooks. Led by Richard D’Anjou and Dan Georgesco, the Sherbrooke ensemble delivers an energy and vocal color that faithfully evoke Sting’s musical world.
