Mahakwe, a French-Nigerian based in Lyon, chose the Africa Cup of Nations period to release the track “Drogba.” A marketing ploy or a simple coincidence? A bit of both. What’s certain is that this song is likely to become an anthem for African football, and its catchy rhythm is sure to get everyone talking.
