Jumelles d’Afrique est un duo musical formé par les sœurs camerounaises Chanelle et Soleil. Entre rythmes africains, voyages inspirants et créations originales, elles célèbrent la richesse du continent. Lauréates du prix du Meilleur groupe de variété à Grand-Bassam (2019), elles vivent aujourd’hui à Laval (Canada) et développent leur univers entre musique, mode et entrepreneuriat.

Jumelles d’Afrique is a musical duo made up of Cameroonian sisters Chanelle and Soleil. Blending African rhythms, original songs, and rich cultural influences from their travels, they celebrate the diversity of the continent. Winners of the Best Variety Group award in Grand-Bassam (2019), they now live in Laval, Canada, and are expanding their creative universe into music, fashion, and entrepreneurship.

Aminé au MTelus

Aminé est un rappeur vif et haut en couleur, connu pour son approche décalée du hip-hop. Sa carrière a décollé grâce à son tube multi-platine Caroline (2016), qui a atteint la 11e place du classement pop américain. Il a ensuite confirmé son succès avec Good for You (2017), un album certifié or, puis avec la mixtape ONEPOINTFIVE (2018), marquée par Reel It In, son deuxième single multi-platine.
Son deuxième véritable album, Limbo (2020), s’est hissé dans le Top 20 du Billboard 200, avant d’être suivi par une nouvelle mixtape, TWOPOINTFIVE (2021). Entre ces deux projets, Aminé a décroché une nomination aux Grammy Awards dans la catégorie « Best Dance Recording » pour sa collaboration avec Disclosure sur le morceau My High.
Collaborateur de longue date du producteur Kaytranada, il a sorti avec lui l’album commun Kaytraminé en 2023. L’année suivante, Aminé a dévoilé un EP concis intitulé .mp3s (2024).

Aminé is a witty and colorful rapper with a left-of-center approach to hip-hop. His career took off with the multi-platinum number 11 pop hit « Caroline » (2016). It continued to ascend with Good for You (2017), a gold-certified album, and ONEPOINTFIVE (2018), a stardom-affected mixtape containing « Reel It In, » Aminé’s second multi-platinum single.
His second proper album Limbo (2020) cracked the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and was followed with another tape, TWOPOINTFIVE (2021). Between the latter two releases, Aminé picked up a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording as a featured artist on Disclosure’s « My High. »
A longtime collaborator with producer Kaytranada, the two released the full-length Kaytraminé in 2023. Aminé released a brief EP titled .mp3s in 2024.

Bon Enfant, c’est un début d’engouement global discréditant l’enjeu territorial de la langue au profit d’avoir des bonnes tounes. Instigateur d’un rock perméable et ouvert en évitant le pastiche toujours, le groupe persiste dans son adaptation des résonances populaires avec l’annonce d’un troisième record; un album intégral fait pour faire du bien. En amont des tournées partout-tout-le-temps, il fallait bien suer dans un Esco trop plein. Bon Enfant et Coup de cœur vous souhaitent une bonne journée.

Bon Enfant is the spark of a growing craze, dismissing the territorial stakes of language in favor of simply having good tunes. As instigators of a permeable, open rock, always steering clear of pastiche, the band continues to shape popular resonances with the announcement of a third record: a full-length album made to feel good. Before heading off on their everywhere-all-the-time tours, they had to sweat it out in an overflowing Esco. Bon Enfant and Coup de cœur wish you a great day.

Dang Thai Son, piano à la salle Bourgie

Depuis sa victoire au prestigieux Concours Chopin de Varsovie en 1980, Dang Thai Son mène une carrière fulgurante, qui l’a conduit aux quatre coins du monde avec les plus grands orchestres. Celui qui fut le professeur de Bruce Liu interprète plusieurs œuvres du compositeur polonais qui l’a fait connaître, avec un détour par l’impressionnisme français, de Fauré à Debussy.

After winning Warsaw’s prestigious Chopin Competition in 1980, Dang Thai Son embarked on a meteoric career—travelling to the four corners of the world, playing with top orchestras, and teaching students such as Canadian pianist Bruce Liu. Here, he performs gems from the Polish composer who propelled him to fame, alongside French impressionist works by Fauré and Debussy.

Noga Erez au Théâtre Beanfield

La productrice, chanteuse et auteure-compositrice de Tel Aviv, Noga Erez, crée une pop électronique expérimentale qui allie des sonorités audacieuses à des commentaires sociaux percutants. Sur son album de débuts Off the Radar (2017), elle explore l’hypocrisie, la paranoïa et le privilège à travers des morceaux entraînants rappelant M.I.A. et Flying Lotus. Elle élargit son approche sur Kids (2021), en équilibrant sa vision du monde sans compromis avec une perspective plus personnelle.

Tel Aviv producer and singer/songwriter Noga Erez makes electronic pop experimental that pairs bold sonics with astute social commentary. On her 2017 debut album Off the Radar, she delved into hypocrisy, paranoia, and privilege over propulsive tracks that recalled M.I.A. and Flying Lotus. She widened her approach on 2021’s Kids, balancing her uncompromising worldview with a more personal viewpoint.

Provocatrice folk-punk androgyne et enflammée originaire de Chicago, Ezra Furman s’est imposée comme l’une des artistes pop les plus captivantes et imprévisibles de son époque, grâce à son attitude à la Lennon, ses paroles brutes et sincères, ainsi que son style flamboyant. Depuis la sortie de son premier album en 1993, Thomas Fersen s’est imposé comme un auteur-compositeur-interprète incontournable, un poète de la chanson française à l’esprit malicieux. Quelque trente ans après Le bal des oiseaux, son premier opus fondateur, Fersen revient avec Le choix de la reine, un projet irrésistible, qui est l’occasion de revoir son répertoire sous un angle nouveau. Fersen a fait appel au Trio SR9 et à l’arrangeur Clément Ducol, oscarisé pour la bande-originale du film Emilia Perez. Ses chansons se trouvent enveloppées de sonorités envoûtantes, portées par le xylophone, le vibraphone, le glockenspiel, le marimba et le piano. Un spectacle unique qui, à coup sûr, saura vous faire vibrer.

Since the release of his debut album in 1993, Thomas Fersen has established himself as an essential singer-songwriter, a poet of French chanson with a mischievous spirit. Nearly thirty years after Le bal des oiseaux, his seminal first album, Fersen returns with Le choix de la reine, an irresistible project that offers a fresh perspective on his repertoire. For this project, Fersen collaborated with the Trio SR9 and arranger Clément Ducol, Oscar-winning for the score of Emilia Perez. His songs are enveloped in enchanting sounds, brought to life by the xylophone, vibraphone, glockenspiel, marimba, and piano. Au cours de ces années le groupe présenta des centaines de spectacles dans des salles, des festivals et des événements corporatifs, un peu partout à travers le Canada. Echoes est composé de talentueux musiciens, soucieux de reproduire fidèlement l’œuvre musicale de Pink Floyd, accompagnée de son et des visuels d’une grande qualité! Le spectacle The Dark Side of the Moon Experience vous transportera dans l’univers de ce légendaire album culte, acclamé à travers le monde entier.  Pour ce spectacle unique s’ajouteront de superbes nouveaux effets visuels sur les écrans du Studio-Cabaret, offrant une expérience totalement immersive où l’imaginaire culte de Pink Floyd prendra vie. L’intégral de l’album sera précédé d’une première partie constituée d’autres grandes œuvres de Pink Floyd.

The band Echoes – A Tribute to Pink Floyd has been active on the Québec music scene since 2005. Over the years, they have performed hundreds of shows in venues, festivals, and corporate events across Canada. Echoes is made up of talented musicians dedicated to faithfully reproducing Pink Floyd’s music, accompanied by high-quality sound and visuals. Festival des musiques de création : Ça me rappelle toi – Chanson réconfortante au Studio Desjardins du CEM

En 2024, l’autrice-compositrice-interprète Jeanne Laforest (notamment collaboratrice d’Arianne Roy) créait au CEM Suite pour enfant intérieur, un cycle de chansons expérimentales inspiré par les grandes étapes du passage de l’enfance à l’âge adulte. Ça me rappelle toi est né de la rencontre entre cette œuvre et celle de la saxophoniste et compositrice Florence Garneau. Conçu comme une véritable co-création, le spectacle entrelace leurs univers musicaux dans une proposition commune qui traverse les âges de la vie. Entre souvenirs d’enfance, passage du temps et liens entre générations, leurs musiques font résonner des histoires personnelles inspirées notamment des conversations que Florence a enregistrées avec sa grand-mère. Présenté dans le cadre de la Fête des Mères, ce concert propose un moment de douceur et de proximité à partager en après-midi. Les chansons, délicates et feutrées, laissent entendre des échos de la chanson québécoise des années 1970, tout en intégrant les influences jazz et expérimentales des artistes. En plus de Jeanne Laforest (composition, voix, percussions) et Florence Garneau (composition, voix, saxophone), l’ensemble réunit les artistes de la région Samuel Gaudreault (guitares, arrangements), Sandrine Thibault (voix, percussions), et Émile Boucher Cloutier (voix, percussions).

In 2024, singer-songwriter Jeanne Laforest (known in part for her collaborations with Arianne Roy) created Suite pour enfant intérieur at the CEM, a cycle of experimental songs inspired by the major stages of the transition from childhood to adulthood. Ça me rappelle toi was born from the meeting of this work with that of saxophonist and composer Florence Garneau. Conceived as a true co-creation, the performance intertwines their musical worlds in a shared piece that moves across the different phases of life. Blending childhood memories, the passage of time, and intergenerational connections, their music resonates with personal stories inspired in part by conversations Florence recorded with her grandmother. Presented as part of Mother’s Day celebrations, this concert offers a gentle and intimate moment to share in the afternoon. The delicate, hushed songs echo Quebec chanson of the 1970s while incorporating the artists’ jazz and experimental influences. In addition to Jeanne Laforest (composition, vocals, percussion) and Florence Garneau (composition, vocals, saxophone), the ensemble brings together regional artists Samuel Gaudreault (guitars, arrangements), Sandrine Thibault (vocals, percussion), and Émile Boucher Cloutier (vocals, percussion).

Dirigé par le légendaire maestro Arnie Roth et interprété par l’Orchestre et le Chœur FILMharmonique, ce concert comprend également des œuvres emblématiques de Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Yoko Shimomura et d’autres grands noms de la musique. Shimomura, et d’autres grands compositeurs de toute la série Final Fantasy. Le concert mettra également en vedette Amanda Achen, chanteuse originale de Final Fantasy XIV et XVI.

Celebrate the music of FINAL FANTASY XIV and XVI by renowned composer Masayoshi Soken! Led by legendary maestro Arnie Roth and performed by the FILMharmonique Orchestra and Choir. Stacey Kent est une chanteuse de jazz américaine dans la lignée des plus grands, avec une légion de fans et une multitude de distinctions et de récompenses, dont une nomination aux Grammy Awards et, plus récemment, le Prix Ella Fitzgerald du Festival de jazz de Montréal. Avec des albums certifiés platine et or qui ont atteint plusieurs fois le sommet des classements et plus d’un demi-milliard d’écoutes sur Spotify, elle s’est constitué un vaste public international grâce à ses interprétations délicatement nuancées de standards, de chansons, de bossa nova et de compositions originales. Son répertoire multilingue unique comprend des compositions originales écrites par l’auteur Kazuo Ishiguro, lauréat du prix Nobel, en collaboration avec son mari, le saxophoniste, producteur, compositeur et arrangeur Jim Tomlinson. Leur première chanson, The Ice Hotel, a remporté le premier prix dans la catégorie jazz de l’International Songwriting Competition. Stacey a également enregistré avec les légendes brésiliennes Marcos Valle, Roberto Menescal et Danilo Caymmi, ainsi qu’avec le célèbre quatuor à cordes français Quatuor Ébène.
