Il s’inspire des musiques enracinées et intimistes de chanteurs comme Tom Wait, Bob Dylan ou Richard Desjardins. Il y ajoute ensuite des arrangements minimalistes, une personnalité bon enfant et des mélodies accrocheuses. Il monte régulièrement sur scène avec son ami et acolyte violoncelliste Louis-Solem Pérot.
