Additional Information

POP Montréal is celebrating 25 years of DIY and artistic vision. The festival remains an international beacon of indie music culture; spending several evenings there is invariably enlightening, enriching, exciting, and even liberating! It’s truly an event that celebrates the intercultural and welcoming nature of Montreal life. That’s why we’ve selected three daily recommendations from Pop MTL’s head programmer and founder, Dan Seligman. Here are his final Sunday September 27th and Monday 28th three picks.

El Domingo POP Mario Park, 27 sept. 2026, 1PM

DAN: For Sunday, we do have se cool shows we’re doing even if there is a reduction. Well, we have, we’re actually doing a lot like Latin. It’s called El Domingo Pop at the Mario Park / Marché des Possibles.  We’re doing shows like DJ sets. We’re going to have Barros Lucos , and a food stand. So it’s a sort of event with a couple of local DJs. We’re doing it with another promoter, Isla’s.   So it’s all a Latin local party. .Montreal has such a diverse scene.

Infinity Song + 110% Théâtre Rialto – Salle Exclaim! Sep 27, 8:00 pm

DAN: We have this really cool band, Infinity Songs Like, well, the headliner at Rialto that night is Infinity Song. They’re like a young sibling band, they do harmonies but are kind of very poppy, all that with  blues and R&B influences. They’re a family band, and also  fine and great live performers. Yeah, they kind of came out of nowhere the last few years.  They’re American. from New York. Four siblings, very across genres but with poppy  flavour. Indie pop meets R&B ! It’s really cool.

Heated “POP” Rivalry avec Philippe B, La Bronze, Night Lunch, Dumas (LIVE) + Peter Peter en Q&A Théâtre Rialto – Salle Exclaim! Sep 28,  7:00 PM

DAN: We also have one program on Monday  28th.  It’s like a special event about The Heated Rivalry, of which a bunch of the artists that are on the soundtrack – Peter Peter, LaBronze, Dumas, Philippe B, etc.. Well, it’s like a special Heated Rivalry night, the author is going to be there. So there’s lots of fun stuff.  I think it’s finally a nice edition of the Pop MTL. Yeah!
