They first gained recognition at the Syli d’Or awards this year, and since then, they’ve been performing on various stages across the city and beyond. This collective of women with diverse roots, from Quebec to Latin America, will be on the Loto-Québec Stage this Thursday, July 16, as part of the Women of the World Series at the Nuits d’Afrique International Festival. Born from an almost organic sisterhood, these women don’t strive for perfection but focus primarily on the co-creation process, each bringing her own strengths. They had the opportunity to speak with our contributor Juliana Cortes about the origins of the collective and how it’s evolving, including the addition of new members.
