Additional Information
The Montreal Baroque Festival 2026 once again announces the arrival of summer with its edition taking place from June 18 to 21. As usual, there will be discoveries, reliable favourites, and renowned artists from local, national, and international stages. The starting point of this edition is an opera-ballet presented for the first time in North America: Le Triomphe des Sens, by Jean-Joseph Mouret (1682-1738), an overlooked composer but one who enjoyed considerable popularity in his time. From there, the Festival has concocted a program that will combine plenty of beautiful and good music with tasting, visual, and even tactile experiences. We speak about all this with Co-Artistic and General Director, Vincent Lauzer.
