Depuis la naissance des légendaires Miles Davis et John Coltrane, en 1926, jusqu’à la disparition du compositeur et multi-instrumentiste brésilien Moacir Santos, en 2026, le jazz a traversé un siècle de créations, d’innovations et d’influences. Pour souligner cet héritage exceptionnel, les professeurs du secteur jazz de la Faculté de musique unissent leur talent dans un concert-hommage consacré à ces artistes, dont l’apport reste une constante source d’inspiration.
From the birth of the legendary Miles Davis and John Coltrane in 1926 to the passing of Brazilian composer and multi-instrumentalist Moacir Santos in 2026, jazz has spanned a century of creativity, innovation, and influence. To celebrate this exceptional legacy, faculty members from the jazz department of the School of Music are joining forces for a tribute concert dedicated to these artists, whose contributions remain a constant source of inspiration.
