African Guitar Spirit, c’est un collectif de musiciens basé à Montréal. Ce trio d’artistes est composé de Sadio Sissokho (Sénégal) à la percussions et à la voix, de Carlo Birri à la basse et de Gotta Lago (Côte d’Ivoire) à la guitare et à la voix. Le groupe African Guitar Spirit, récipiendaire du 6e Prix de la Diversité Culturelle en 2015, fusionne la musique africaine au blues et au jazz, avec une saveur urbaine glissée dans toutes ces sonorités. Les artistes sont de véritables explorateurs, avec l’esprit de performance dans leur ADN, les trois musiciens épatent à chaque prestation par leur savoir-faire.

This trio of artists is composed of Sadio Sissokho (Senegal) on percussion and voice, Carlo Birri on bass and Gotta Lago (Ivory Coast) on guitar and voice. African Guitar Spirit, recipient of the 6th Cultural Diversity Award in 2015, fuses African music with blues and jazz, with an urban flavor slipped into all these sounds.
