Sabor 19 au Balattou

En décembre 2017, Eduardo Ramirez et Mac Gregore Brunis se rencontrent par hasard dans une soirée de danse à Montréal. Ces deux amateurs de musique latine réalisent donc leur passion pour la salsa et décident de créer Sabor 19 au début de l’année 2018.  Après plusieurs mois de planification, Sabor 19 accueillera d’autres musiciens dans ses rangs et deviendra un orchestre complet. Pourquoi le chiffre 19? : Dans leur esprit, 2019 symbolisait l’année de notre éclosion, le début d’une belle histoire.

L’orchestre Sabor 19 compte maintenant 11 membres et leur répertoire se compose de salsa et de cumbia.  Depuis 2019, Sabor 19 a joué plus de 25 concerts à Montréal et au Québec et s’est fait connaître sur la scène latine à Montréal. En 2022 ils ont commencé à créer ses compositions originales, toujours dans l’objectif de faire danser le monde, de partager la chaleur humaine et la joie de la rue au public.

In December 2017, Eduardo Ramirez and Mac Gregore Brunis met by chance at a dance party in Montreal. These two Latin music lovers thus realized their passion for salsa and decided to create Sabor 19 in early 2018.  After several months of planning, Sabor 19 will welcome other musicians into its ranks and become a full orchestra. Why the number 19: In their minds, 2019 symbolized the year of our blossoming, the beginning of a beautiful story.

The Sabor 19 orchestra now has 11 members and their repertoire consists of salsa and cumbia.  Since 2019, Sabor 19 has played over 25 concerts in Montreal and Quebec, making a name for itself on the Latin scene in Montreal. In 2022 they began creating its original compositions, always with the aim of making the world dance, sharing the human warmth and joy of the street with the public.
