Suoni Per Il Popolo: Ben Patterson – Remix | Vernissage

Intégrée dans les espaces sociaux et théâtraux de la Casa Del Popolo, Benjamin Patterson : REMIX présentera des documents éphémères, des projections vidéo et des œuvres sonores provenant des archives de Benjamin Patterson (Hambourg). Cette présentation donne un aperçu de la technique de composition innovante de Patterson, qui consiste à mélanger diverses formes d’art dans le cadre de sa musicologie acoustique et électronique. En mettant l’accent sur l’interactivité, la vitrine d’archives de la Casa Del Popolo sert de porte d’entrée aux explorations thématiques de Patterson, invitant les participants à se plonger dans l’intersection de l’art et de la société, conformément à l’éthique de Patterson qui consiste à remettre en question les conventions et à susciter des conversations critiques au sein de la sphère publique.

Un set de 30 minutes de réinterprétations de Patterson par Malcolm Goldstein et James Goddard.

Le DJ Christof Migone diffusera de la musique FLUXUS à partir de sa vaste collection de 19h à 22h. Des boissons sélectionnées de « Cocktails Chez Ben » (2003), une performance de cocktail pour les bars développée par Patterson, seront servies au bar de la Casa Del Popolo.

Integrated into the social and theatrical spaces of Casa Del Popolo, Benjamin Patterson: REMIX will present ephemeral documents, video projections and sound works from the archives of Benjamin Patterson (Hamburg). This presentation provides an insight into Patterson’s innovative compositional technique of blending various art forms within his acoustic and electronic musicology. With an emphasis on interactivity, Casa Del Popolo’s archival showcase serves as a gateway to Patterson’s thematic explorations, inviting participants to delve into the intersection of art and society, in keeping with Patterson’s ethos of challenging convention and sparking critical conversations within the public sphere.

A 30-minute set of Patterson reinterpretations by Malcolm Goldstein and James Goddard.

DJ Christof Migone will play FLUXUS music from his extensive collection from 7-10pm. Selected drinks from “Cocktails Chez Ben” (2003), a cocktail performance for bars developed by Patterson, will be served at the Casa Del Popolo bar.
