Sik-K est né Kwon Min-sik à Séoul en 1994. Adolescent, il a vécu brièvement à Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique, avant de retourner en Corée du Sud pour se consacrer à la musique. Il a participé à la saison 2015 de Show Me the Money et a commencé la même année à sortir ses propres morceaux. Il a sorti son premier EP, FLIP, sur le label OTC en 2016, mais a rapidement signé avec H1ghr Music.
