Né à Ottawa en 1985, il a appris la musique en autodidacte en utilisant des instruments hérités de son grand-père : un harmonica, une guitare, un piano et un vieux violon. Leif a sorti 3 albums à ce jour : Inland, North Americana et Twin Solitude.
