En 2019, avec la bénédiction de Terri Castillo Chapin, la veuve du fameux saxophoniste Thomas Chapin, le batteur Ivan Bamford a rendu hommage à ce saxophoniste mort en 1998 à l’âge de 40 ans en créant les ensembles Eyevin Trio et Eyevin Nonet. Voici une occasion idéale de voir et d’apprécier le nonet réuni en spectacle au Off Jazz en 2022 !
In 2019, with the blessing of Terri Castillo Chapin, the widow of the famous saxophonist Thomas Chapin, drummer Ivan Bamford has paid tribute to the saxophonist who died in 1998 at the age of 40 by creating the Eyevin Trio and Eyevin Nonet ensembles. This is an ideal opportunity to see and appreciate the nonet together in a show at L’Off Jazz in 2022!
