Elle est diplômée en musique au Centre Universitaire Claretiano (Curitiba – Brésil) et spécialisée en éducation musicale pour enfants (éveil musical), avec plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans différents domaines de la musique.
Elle a participé à des enregistrements d’artistes tels que Diogo Ramos et Boogát, Du Gomide, Rodrigo Simoes, Alisson Camargo, Guillaume Dion, Claudio Chaves, Athon Gallera, Florian Bill, Xyko Ferreira et Carlito Birolli. Depuis son arrivée à Montréal, elle participe à différents projets musicaux, comme le Jazz Brésilien de Rodrigo Simões, l’Eletrosamba de Diogo Ramos et Boogát et le multiculturel Trans Portée de Guillaume Dion.
Avec eux, elle a eu l’occasion de connaître et tomber amoureuse de la culture québécoise, des petits concerts en plein air aux grands festivals tels que Nuits d’Afrique, dont elle a participé aux éditions 2019 et 2021.
Fière représentante de la nouvelle musique populaire brésilienne, Bianca Rocha vient de lancer Fim de Mundo, son tout premier album. Arrangées par Rodrigo Simões. Les pièces qui y figurent conjuguent des influences jazz, latines et afro-brésiliennes. Bianca Rocha aime mélanger les cultures, les accents et les rythmes. Essentiellement en portugais, l’album fait aussi un clin d’œil à l’espagnol, au français et à l’italien. « Ces chansons racontent un peu mon histoire, mais toujours en faisant des liens avec le collectif », raconte Bianca, qui cite Rosa Passos, Elza Soares, Esperanza Spalding, Hermeto Pascoal et Bobby McFerrin parmi ses influences.
Les chansons de Bianca Rocha abordent des thèmes tels que l’amour sans genre, les maladies mentales comme l’anxiété, le processus de gentrification qui se déroule partout dans le monde, mais aussi un message positif d’unité, de résignation et d’espoir. Sa musique musique latino-américaine porte toujours l’expression d’un peuple fort qui ne se laisse pas submerger par la souffrance, qui reconnaît ses problèmes, mais célèbre la vie et ses petits plaisirs.
Bianca Rocha, is a South Brazilian singer-songwriter. She has been living in Montreal since April 2019.

Since her arrival in Montreal, she has participated in different musical projects, such as Rodrigo Simões’ Brazilian Jazz, Diogo Ramos and Boogát’s Eletrosamba and Guillaume Dion’s multicultural Trans Portée.
With them, she had the opportunity to get to know and fall in love with Quebec culture, from small open-air concerts to large festivals such as Nuits d’Afrique, of which she participated in the 2019 and 2021 editions.
Proud representative of the new Brazilian popular music, Bianca Rocha has just launched Fim de Mundo, her very first album. Arranged by Rodrigo Simões. Bianca Rocha’s songs address themes such as genderless love, mental illnesses such as anxiety, the process of gentrification taking place around the world, but also a positive message of unity, resignation and hope. His Latin American music always carries the expression of a strong people who do not let themselves be overwhelmed by suffering, who recognize their problems, but celebrate life and its small pleasures.
