The Brazilian-born artist’s latest release on the prestigious Ninja Tune label, Isam remains a monumental oeuvre, almost supernatural in scope. The infra-bass sculptor pushes his limits while moving away from the acid jazz and breakbeat of his early days. Melodic passages are omnipresent on each of the compositions, urban jungles haunted by extraterrestrial sounds. Highly recommended for audiophiles looking to evaluate the capabilities of their sound system!
