Le groupe montréalais Wizaard est un groupe indie rock psychédélique constitué de Marie-Hélène Coutu et de Jean-Nicolas Doss – tranchant comme l’hiver mais doux comme la sauce gravy. Au fil des ans et évoluant avec des chansons anglophones, le groupe est devenu un incontournable de la scène musicale underground de la ville, et émerge aujourd’hui avec un répertoire bilingue, à l’avant-garde d’un nouveau mouvement psychédélique. Wizaard a partagé la scène avec de nombreux groupes, tels que Choses Sauvages, Men I Trust, Paul Jacobs, ou encore Elephant Stone, en passant par les Américains Twin Peaks. Le groupe a également réalisé un remix pour le groupe Spaceface (projet parallèle des Flaming Lips) qui a connu un franc succès avec plus de 1 million de streams sur Spotify. Après avoir sorti deux albums, ‘Starfish Buffet’ (2016), puis “Supernatural Mystics” (2019) sous différentes formations, Wizaard a présenté son premier album à majorité francophone en 2024. Un délicieux cocktail de folie, d’éclectisme et de groove!
The Montreal band Wizaard is a psychedelic indie rock group made up of Marie-Hélène Coutu and Jean-Nicolas Doss – sharp as winter but smooth as gravy. Over the years and evolving with English songs, the band has become a mainstay of the city’s underground music scene, emerging today with a bilingual repertoire at the forefront of a new psychedelic movement. Wizaard has shared the stage with a number of bands, including Choses Sauvages, Men I Trust, Le Couleur and Elephant Stone, as well as the Americans Twin Peaks. The band also produced a remix for the band Spaceface (a Flaming Lips side project), which was a great success, with over 1 million streams on Spotify. After releasing two albums, ‘Starfish Buffet’ (2016) and then ‘Supernatural Mystics’ (2019) under different line-ups, Wizaard has presented their first album with a French-speaking majority in 2024. A delicious cocktail of madness, eclecticism and groove.
Et on déjeune (18h30)
Fondé en 2020, Et on déjeune est un quintet témiscabitibien 100% féminin. Son style synthpop, punk rock et électro, empreint d’une nostalgie des années 80, a donné naissance à une proposition musicale à la fois douce, explosive, poétique et théâtrale. Après avoir lancé deux simples en 2025, Moquette et Joconde, Et on déjeune s’apprête à dévoiler son tout premier album à l’automne. Des dates de spectacles seront annoncées bientôt.
Founded in 2020, Et on déjeune is an all-female quintet from Témiscamingue. Their synthpop, punk rock, and electro style, imbued with ’80s nostalgia, has given rise to a musical offering that is simultaneously gentle, explosive, poetic, and theatrical. After releasing two singles in 2025, Moquette and Joconde, Et on déjeune is preparing to unveil their debut album this fall. Performance dates will be announced soon.
