Le Studio TD - Montréal 29$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

Since emerging on Quebec’s rap scene in 2020, GreenWoodz has quickly become a key figure among the new generation of artists. A standout voice in the province’s rising wave, he’s built a name for himself through a unique style and a raw authenticity deeply rooted in his own lived experience—qualities that resonate strongly with today’s youth and have helped him forge a deep connection with fans across the province. GreenWoodz blends the sounds of American emo-rap (XXXTentacion, Lil Peep, $uicideboy$), rock (Nirvana, Good Charlotte, Sum 41), and Quebec’s own folk tradition (Les Colocs, Les Cowboys Fringants) to create his signature sound.
At the end of 2022, he joined leading rap label Disques 7ième Ciel and released his debut album TPL in September 2023. The album is a raw, introspective project where GreenWoodz opens up about his life journey, marked by substance use, depression, and the emotional weight of rural life. Notable tracks include “Friday Night,” “Red Flags,” and “GONE!”.
