Ménodji Clarisse, surnommée Melodji, est une figure emblématique de la musique contemporaine tchadienne, reconnue pour sa voix puissante et émotive. Sa passion pour la musique débute dès son enfance, inspirée par sa mère et ses tantes. En 2001, elle fonde le groupe Matania, remportant plusieurs distinctions, dont une médaille d’or aux Jeux de la CEN-SAD en 2007. Par la suite, Melodji entame une carrière solo, élargissant sa portée en Europe, aux États-Unis et au Canada. Son premier album, “Ta Horndal”, sort en 2013, suivi de “Minoh” en 2023, illustrant son évolution artistique. Explorant divers genres musicaux, elle aborde des thèmes sociaux tels que l’amour et la paix. Autodidacte, Melodji a également suivi des formations en Côte d’Ivoire et à Lyon, renforçant son statut d’ambassadrice de la culture tchadienne.

Ménodji Clarisse, known as Melodji, is a prominent figure in contemporary Chadian music, celebrated for her powerful and emotive voice. Her passion for music began in childhood, inspired by her mother and aunts. In 2001, she founded the group Matania, winning several accolades, including a gold medal at the CEN-SAD Games in 2007. Melodji later embarked on a solo career, expanding her reach to Europe, the United States, and Canada. Her debut album, “Ta Horndal,” was released in 2013, followed by “Minoh” in 2023, showcasing her artistic evolution. Exploring various musical genres, she addresses social themes such as love and peace. A self-taught artist, Melodji also trained in Côte d’Ivoire and Lyon, solidifying her role as an ambassador of Chadian culture.
