Eliza Niemi
Eliza Niemi a commencé sur la riche scène musicale d’Halifax avec les groupes pop expérimentaux New Love Underground et Mauno au milieu des années 2010, puis elle a soutenu les artistes Le Ren, Quaker Parents et Evan J. Cartwright. Grâce aux rythmes des tournées et à l’étincelle brillante qui est partagée dans les échanges musicaux, Eliza a trouvé et développé des connexions à travers les communautés musicales du Canada. Ces moments de collaboration alimentent sa pratique créative, qu’elle joue en solo ou en groupe.
Honed guitar, piano, cello and vocal skills make Eliza an ideal collaborator: starting in Halifax’s rich music scene with the mid-2010s experimental pop groups New Love Underground and Mauno, and later in her role supporting artists Le Ren, Quaker Parents and Evan J. Cartwright. Through the rhythms of touring and the brilliant spark that’s shared in musical exchange, Eliza found and developed connections across Canada’s DIY music communities. These collaborative moments fuel her creative practice, whether playing solo or in an ensemble.
