Le festival Suoni Per Il Popolo est présenté par la Société des Arts Libres et Actuels (SALA), une organisation à but non-lucratif enregistrée en 2002. De ses racines ancrées dans diverses formes musicales exploratoires, la SALA s’engage à mettre de l’avant la musique d’avant-garde expérimentale dans un contexte communautaire!
Un épisode particulièrement excitant de notre partenariat de longue date avec le Quatuor Bozzini, le prestigieux quatuor classique expérimental de Montréal. Ce programme comprendra des sélections historiques du légendaire compositeur d’avant-garde Christian Wolff, ainsi que la présentation d’une nouvelle œuvre sous la direction de ce dernier.
The Suoni Per Il Popolo is presented by the Société des Arts Libres et Actuels (SALA), a Montreal based non-profit organization which was incorporated in 2002. Rooted in exploratory musical forms, the SALA is committed to presenting avant garde and experimental music and sound within a community context.
A particularly thrilling instalment of our longstanding partnership with Montreal’s premiere experimental classical quartet Quatuor Bozzini. This program will include historic selections from legendary avant-garde composer Christian Wolff, as well as the premiere of new work under the direction of the man himself.
