Le trio nordique FIRE !, composé de Mats Gustafsson (saxophone), Johan Berthling (guitare basse) et Andreas Werlin (batterie), a acquis une place de choix dans les sphères de l’improvisation heavy internationale. Cette soirée débute par la présentation de La Lumière Du Soleil Dans Un Semi Sous-sol, une série de trois vidéos créées pour accompagner Soundworks de l’artiste sonore new-yorkais Joseph Sannicandro et du musicien/activiste/organisateur local Stefan Christoff. Les réalisateurs sont Guillaume Vallée, Samer Najari et Francesca Tallone.
Hammering out influences including free jazz, psych and noise, Nordic trio FIRE!, featuring Mats Gustafsson (sax), Johan Berthling (bass guitar) and Andreas Werlin (drums), have earned a dedicated place within the spheres of international heavy improv.
