Le nouveau spectacle de Viviane Audet met en lumière son plus récent album instrumental, Le piano et le torrent — un récit pianistique de quinze pièces, enraciné dans ce petit village côtier de la Baie-des-Chaleurs qui l’a vue naître, grandir et devenir : Maria. Dans une mise en scène à la fois délicate et vibrante, où les rires croisent les larmes, Viviane déploie ses talents de pianiste et de comédienne. Avec tendresse et aplomb, elle lève le voile sur son lien intime avec le territoire, là où veillent les goélands, les corneilles… et les souvenirs. Ce spectacle révèle ce que Viviane a de plus précieux : sa façon bien à elle de tisser un lien avec le public, son amour profond de la scène, et ce don rare de marier musique et récit. Viviane Audet’s new show highlights her latest instrumental album, Le piano et le torrent — a pianistic narrative of fifteen pieces rooted in the small coastal village of Chaleur Bay where she was born, grew up, and became who she is today: Maria. In a staging that is both delicate and vibrant, where laughter meets tears, Viviane showcases her talents as a pianist and actress. With tenderness and confidence, she lifts the veil on her intimate connection to the land, where seagulls, crows… and memories stand watch. This performance reveals what is most precious to Viviane: her singular way of forging a bond with the audience, her deep love of the stage, and her rare gift for weaving together music and storytelling. A profoundly human encounter that invites audiences to dive into a story of uprooting and light. Claude Laflamme is a Quebec-based harp-guitarist renowned for his unique style and deep musical sensitivity. With an international career and frequent recognition in specialized guitar magazines, he has performed from Quebec to Japan and contributed to over fifty musical projects. Winner of the Sir Ernest MacMillan Award, Laflamme stands out for a rich playing style that blends groove, harmony, and depth. His compositions aim to move audiences with authenticity and creativity.

C’est l’esprit que font revivre nos deux complices, Jean Marchand partageant sa vie de pianiste avec sa carrière d’acteur, et Olivier Godin nourrissant la sienne avec la direction artistique de la Salle Bourgie. Ensemble, à travers des pages sublimes de Brahms et de Schubert, ils ravivent cette tradition d’écoute et de partage. Salon romantique célèbre l’art du piano et la chaleur de l’amitié.

In the 19th century, the piano held a central place in the salon, a space for exchange and intimacy, where music was experienced up close, among family or friends. It is this spirit that our two collaborators revive: Jean Marchand, sharing his life as a pianist alongside his career as an actor, and Olivier Godin, enriching his through his role as artistic director of Salle Bourgie. Together, through the sublime works of Brahms and Schubert, they rekindle this tradition of attentive listening and shared enjoyment. Salon Romantique celebrates the art of the piano and the warmth of friendship.

Power trio de la ville de Québec, La dame Ovale livre des textes poétiques aussi tranchants que délicats servis par une musique puissante, quelque part entre le rock, le punk et la chanson française. Depuis sa formation en 2021, La dame Ovale s’est produit dans plusieurs événements, dont le Festival de la chanson de Tadoussac, le Phoque OFF, Saint-Roch XP, en plus d’être passé par diverses régions du Québec. Le groupe a fait paraître son premier EP Du rêve à la dompe à la fin 2023 ainsi qu’un vidéoclip nommé au GAMIQ 2024. En attendant la sortie d’un premier album, le groupe a dévoilé en mars 2025 Solitude et Le baiser, deux extraits enregistrés devant public.

A power trio from Québec City, La dame Ovale delivers poetic lyrics that are as sharp as they are delicate, set to powerful music somewhere between rock, punk, and French chanson. Since forming in 2021, the band has performed at numerous events, including the Festival de la chanson de Tadoussac, Phoque OFF, and Saint-Roch XP, as well as in various regions across Quebec. The group released its debut EP, Du rêve à la dompe, in late 2023, along with a music video nominated at the 2024 GAMIQ Awards. While awaiting the release of their first full-length album, the band unveiled Solitude and Le baiser in March 2025, two tracks recorded live in front of an audience.

20h – Sandveiss

Fondé à Québec en 2011, SANDVEISS est une formation Heavy Rock qui propose une musique à la fois lourde et mélodique, qui n’est pas sans rappeler Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Tool ou encore Mastodon. Leur premier album « Scream Queen », sorti en 2013 et ré-édité en 2014 sur l’étiquette Sexy Sloth, remporte le prix de l’album Heavy de l’année au GAMIQ 2015. Le même été, SANDVEISS se produit entre autres sur les plaines d’Abraham durant le FEQ (en ouverture de High on Fire et Megadeth) ainsi qu’au festival Heavy Montréal. 2016 est marquée par la sortie du EP 7″ vinyle (« Save Us All », nommé aux GAMIQ), ainsi que par une tournée en Suède. Après quelques changements de membres et une période d’écriture fructueuse, SANDVEISS est de retour en 2019 avec un deuxième album. « Saboteur » est lourd, accrocheur et salvateur. L’année suivante, le groupe dévoile Sandveiss Bloody Sandveiss, une tribune à leurs origines prenant la forme de quatre reprises de Black Sabbath. Un troisième album est sorti en 2024 : Standing in the Fire. À travers cet album, SANDVEISS aborde des thèmes tels que la division, la polarisation croissante et la toxicité des réseaux sociaux, qu’ils perçoivent comme le reflet d’une société malade. Le résultat est un album puissant et sincère, qui mêle intensité musicale et profondeur lyrique. Le groupe est actuellement composé de Luc Bourgeois (chant/ guitare), Shawn Rice (guitare), Maxime Moisan (basse) et Dominic Gaumond (batterie).

Founded in Québec City in 2011, SANDVEISS is a Heavy Rock band delivering music that is both heavy and melodic, recalling influences such as Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Tool, and Mastodon. Their debut album Scream Queen, released in 2013 and reissued in 2014 on the Sexy Sloth label, won the Heavy Album of the Year award at the 2015 GAMIQ. That same summer, SANDVEISS performed on the Plains of Abraham during the FEQ (opening for High on Fire and Megadeth), as well as at Heavy Montréal.
2016 marked the release of their 7″ vinyl EP (Save Us All, nominated at the GAMIQ), along with a tour in Sweden. After a few lineup changes and a fruitful writing period, SANDVEISS returned in 2019 with their second album. Saboteur is heavy, gripping, and cathartic. The following year, the band unveiled Sandveiss Bloody Sandveiss, a tribute to their roots featuring four Black Sabbath covers. Their third album, Standing in the Fire, was released in 2024. Through this record, SANDVEISS tackles themes such as division, growing polarization, and the toxicity of social media, which they see as a reflection of a sick society. The result is a powerful and sincere album, blending musical intensity with lyrical depth. The band currently consists of Luc Bourgeois (vocals/guitar), Shawn Rice (guitar), Maxime Moisan (bass), and Dominic Gaumond (drums).

Corelli y a forgé le concerto grosso, Respighi en a célébré la beauté et Nino Rota y a signé d’innombrables musiques de films. Pour Handel, Rome a eu une importance déterminante alors qu’il était jeune compositeur, même si son opéra consacré au plus célèbre empereur romain a été composé à Londres. Un concert hommage à la Ville éternelle qui sera l’occasion des débuts de la contralto Rose Naggar-Tremblay et du jeune chef Kyrian Friedenberg avec Les Violons du Roy.

Rome is where Corelli developed the concerto grosso, where Respighi was inspired while celebrating its beauty, and where Nino Rota composed countless film scores. For Handel, Rome played a decisive role during his early career, even though his opera about the most famous Roman emperor was composed in London. This tribute to the Eternal City will mark the debut of contralto Rose Naggar-Tremblay and young conductor Kyrian Friedenberg with Les Violons du Roy.

Bassiste électrique de jazz électrisant, Thierry Du Sablon se consacre principalement au jazz moderne et tente de différencier sa musique des autres en repoussant les limites de son instrument, la basse électrique à six cordes. Celui qu’on a déjà pu voir au sein du Orpheus Trio et de musiciens tels que Rafael Zaldivar, Virginia MacDonald ou François Rioux vient proposer son matériel original. Ses compositions dynamiques sont imprégnées de ses influences et sont engagées dans les questions culturelles et sociales du Québec comme l’importance de la langue ou la question de l’indépendance.

An electrifying jazz bassist, Thierry Du Sablon focuses primarily on modern jazz, striving to set his music apart by pushing the boundaries of his six-string electric bass. Having previously performed with the Orpheus Trio and alongside artists such as Rafael Zaldivar, Virginia MacDonald, and François Rioux, he now presents his own original material. His dynamic compositions reflect his influences and engage with Quebec’s cultural and social issues, from the importance of language to the question of independence.
