This excellent quartet from Hull/Gatineau tosses seemingly disparate ingredients into its cauldron: French poetry, English poetry, hardcore corrosion, breakbeats, electro, free jazz, noise, guitar, synth-drums, machines, bass, saxophone, voice. The absurdity of our lives is expressed in this shaggy, explosive, derisory, cynical, caustic, curdling, critical, multi-referential, highly creative, brutal and refined language. Noisy chaos, free improvisation, punk attitude and rock-in-opposition miraculously coexist within a conceptual approach perfectly adapted to the digital age.
