Young Quebec composer Corie Rose Soumah is currently completing her doctorate at Columbia University in New York. On 24 February 2025, as part of the Festival Montréal / Nouvelles Musiques, her friends from the New York-based vocal ensemble Ekmeles will be performing her piece Like a Frog on the Road to it in the Agora Hydro-Québec in UQAM’s Cœur des sciences.
