Le Festival de Lanaudière présente Wagner Épique

Avec sa grandiose tétralogie L’Anneau du Nibelung – le « Ring » – Wagner allait révolutionner l’opéra, son langage musical comme sa portée théâtrale. Une œuvre de dimensions gigantesques, enracinée dans la mythologie fondatrice des peuples nordiques, héritière de la Grèce antique, néanmoins allégorie moderne sur la société, sur le pouvoir, sur l’amour. Du premier acte de La Valkyrie, deuxième des quatre opéras du cycle, Yannick Nézet-Séguin libère les forces vives, entouré de trois des plus grands chanteurs wagnériens d’aujourd’hui. Une soirée épique, après les retentissantes versions concert de Lohengrin, en 2013, et Parsifal en 2017.
