Their third record and first for the Sub Pop label, Teen Dream is a landmark album for Beach House. The misty dream-pop formula offered by the duo of Victoria Legrand (vocals, keyboards) and her sidekick Alex Scally (guitar, textures) gains momentum thanks to high-fidelity production and much more diversified compositions. On the singing side, Legrand has total command of her voice and carries a much stronger emotional dimension than what she had previously accustomed us to.
