Debut EP

For his third EP, TIN further refines her music, a polished and very Frenchy electro-pop, in substance as well as in form. DJing for several years all over Paris, where she lives, and elsewhere in the world, TIN has a solid musical culture and her work is a bit like her eclectic sets: refined, classy and sensual. Between the worlds of Eli and Jacno and Little Dragon, or, as her bio shows, between Taxi Girl, Chromatics and Françoise Hardy, TIN sings about desire, possible or impossible love, the promises of nightlife, in French and English, against a backdrop of electropop with ’80s colours but with a resolutely modern aesthetic. With its analog synth sounds, its limpid rhythmics, its club sensibility and its new-wave and synthwave tints (the excellent “Matière Noire” for example), Debut is completely in line with the two previous EPs, Imaginary Cupcakes and Shady Hour, but in a much bolder way.
