Sloan Lucas
With her punk vibe, gravelly voice, biting lyrics, and masterful laid-back style, Sloan Lucas is a standout figure in the Quebec hip-hop scene. Equally at home with boombap, trap, and electro-pop, this fall she’s presenting a show to launch a collaborative EP created in Paris, Brussels, and Montreal, with beats by Belgian rapper and beatmaker Urde. For this project, she delves into the doubts and realizations that come with turning thirty, exploring the idea of falling, crashing, and running away through tracks that are nonetheless gentle and vibrant: for once, what matters isn’t the landing.
A year after the release of her second album, MILLENNIUM STAR DIAMANT, Soraï is still just as eager to perform it live—a set that also features standout tracks from her previous album, Synesthésies—blending power and vulnerability, rebellion and celebration into a high-impact show. A queer beatmaker, rapper, and singer, she redefines the game with magnetic “big boom boom” beats, seamlessly blending hip-hop, pop, and electronic music in a vibrant, explosive style—and in doing so, reaffirms her place in the scene and her ability to surprise. It’s a celebration of the unique qualities that shape and unite us.
