Le Forró, expression culturelle originaire du nord-est du Brésil, occupe une place significative à travers tout le pays. Ses rythmes traditionnels tels que le “baião”, “arrasta pé” et “xote” entraînent danse et chant, portés par les compositions de grands artistes tels que Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Anastácia, et d’autres. Lara Klaus, multi-instrumentiste originaire de Recife et profondément imprégnée de cet univers musical, a créé le groupe “Forró de Lá” aux côtés de Rodrigo Simões (guitare et voix), Gabriel Schwartz (flûte, percussions et voix) et Dominique Poirier (accordéon). Ensemble, ils s’engagent à faire rayonner un souffle brésilien à Montréal, offrant ainsi une expérience divertissante au public.
