C’est l’un des plus grands accordéonistes des dernières décennies, un artiste hors normes, un poète de l’instrument, dont l’impressionnante versatilité lui permet d’aborder autant le tango argentin que Mozart, l’univers du jazz que Bach, Michel Legrand que Vivaldi! Alors qu’il vient de célébrer ses 50 ans de carrière, l’immense Richard Galliano fait ses débuts au Festival, et rend hommage à ses prédécesseurs, à ses inspirations, dans un programme mariant ses propres compositions à celles de Piazzolla et autres monuments du jazz et…du classique!
