Antenna93
Antenna93 est un groupe post-punk/garage rock/noise rock de Montréal, QC, composé de Trevor Yardley-Jones (guitare, chant), Derek Robinson (basse), et Michael Tomizzi (batterie). Fondé en 2022, leur son est marqué par des riffs de guitare anguleux, du bruit, des signatures temporelles bizarres et des paroles hors normes. Leur deuxième EP, « Industrial Kitchen », est sorti le 21 mars 2025, via Long Vowel, et est un assaut de 21 minutes de bruit, de rythmes déséquilibrés, et de paroles détaillant l’apathie envers le monde de l’entreprise et l’environnement urbain construit.

Founded in 2022, their sound is marked by angular guitar riffs, noise, odd time signatures, and off the wall lyrics. Their second EP, “Industrial Kitchen”, was released on March 21, 2025, via Long Vowel, and is a 21 minute onslaught of noise, off kilter rhythms, and lyrics detailing apathy towards the corporate world and the built urban environment.
Miesha and The Spanks
Le duo de rock garage Miesha and The Spanks, basé à Calgary, a raconté son ascension à travers une lentille post-punk moderniste qui évoque une histoire d’amour avec les groupes underground et grunge du début des années quatre-vingt-dix. La chanteuse Miesha Louie est la force motrice de Miesha and The Spanks, soutenue par son homologue psychique, le percussionniste Sean Hamilton, qui ponctue intuitivement ses refrains pleins d’âme d’une intensité martelante qui élève simultanément les rythmes cardiaques et les plafonds.
Artiste d’origine mixte Secwépemc vivant sur le territoire du Traité 7, Miesha a consacré toute sa carrière à inventer et à jouer des mélodies instrumentales brillantes qui libèrent ses passions et sa voix puissante. Avec une sérieuse dose d’esprit et de charisme dans sa poche arrière, Miesha est prête à se jeter à l’eau et à faire résonner chaque chanson avec sa propre signature dentelée. Affrontant des sujets bruts et créant un héritage de lutte contre la misogynie, chacune des chansons du duo est une déclaration art-rock qui maîtrise le bruyant en appliquant une approche non conventionnelle.
Calgary-based garage rock duo Miesha and The Spanks have chronicled their ascent through a post-punk modernist lens that speaks of a love affair with early-nineties underground and grunge bands. Front-woman Miesha Louie is the integral driving force behind Miesha and The Spanks, supported by her psychic counterpart, percussionist Sean Hamilton — intuitively punctuating her soulful choruses with a pounding intensity that simultaneously elevates heart rates and ceiling rafters.
A mixed-Secwépemc artist living in Treaty 7 Territory, Miesha’s devoted her entire career to inventing and playing instrumentally brilliant melodies that unleash her passions and full-throated vocal tones. With a serious dose of spirit and charisma in her back pocket Miesha is ready to throw down and make every song resonate with her own jagged signature. Confronting raw subjects and creating a legacy of slaying misogyny, each of the duo’s songs are an art-rock statement that masters the noisy by applying a no-nonsense approach.
Blanc Dehors
Sur scène, on y déploie une grande palette d’ambiances qui, par moments, sont bien rythmées et enthousiastes et, par d’autres, insufflent l’atmosphérique, le planant, l’onirique et le mystère. Le tout — profond, volatile ou hautement dansant — s’entremêle au fil de motifs mélodico-rythmiques simples et accrocheurs, qui sont développés et distribués dans un contrepoint intelligent et sensible. Il en résulte ainsi un groupe contemporain tout à fait original, où la section rythmique connectée, pesante et régulière offre un terrain solide sur lequel prendre son envol. Le spectacle qu’offre Blanc Dehors est un moment lumineux, énergisant et rempli de passion.
À l’automne 2023, Gab Bouchard, séduit par leur son, propose une collaboration à Blanc Dehors pour leur deuxième album. Accompagné de son collaborateur Mathieu Quenneville, il a guidé la réalisation de cet opus clé, soutenant Blanc Dehors dans son aspiration à marquer la scène musicale francophone avec son identité sonore assumée. Sorti le 4 avril 2025, Diaphane a reçu un accueil très positif du public et des médias, qui ont salué son originalité et la force de son univers musical.
Blanc Dehors was born in 2020, in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Driven by Caroline Tremblay’s lyrics, which are accompanied by a four-piece musical creation by Julien B. Gauthier, Stevens Bouchard and Alexis Bélanger. Gauthier, Stevens Bouchard and Alexis Bélanger, the band was formed around a common passion: the depth, fury and brilliance of new wave, post-punk and synth pop.
On stage, they deploy a wide range of ambiances that, at times, are well-paced and enthusiastic and, at others, infuse the atmospheric, the soaring, the dreamlike and the mysterious. The whole – deep, volatile or highly danceable – is interwoven with simple, catchy melodic-rhythmic motifs, which are developed and distributed in intelligent, sensitive counterpoint. The result is an utterly original contemporary band, where the connected, weighty and steady rhythm section provides solid ground on which to take flight. Blanc Dehors is a luminous, energizing, passion-filled show.
In the fall of 2023, Gab Bouchard, seduced by their sound, offered to collaborate with Blanc Dehors on their second album. Accompanied by his collaborator Mathieu Quenneville, he guided the production of this key opus, supporting Blanc Dehors in their aspiration to make their mark on the French music scene with their assertive sonic identity. Released on April 4, 2025, Diaphane was very well received by the public and the media, who praised its originality and the strength of its sound.
