Jouant avec les phénomènes optiques tels que la réflexion et la diffraction, Myriade chromatique redéfinit la relation entre le paysage urbain, l’architecture du Centre PHI et notre regard.
Offrant un tableau à caractère impressionniste, cette installation d’art public nous invite à apprécier une nouvelle facette de la ville, déployant des réflections miroitantes, des couleurs chatoyantes et une certaine reconfiguration de l’architecture environnante.
En constante métamorphose, la perception du paysage se construit selon notre point de vue et nous encourage à rechercher de nouvelles perspectives et à découvrir de nouvelles couleurs.
L’œuvre incite à la curiosité, nous pousse à interagir avec l’art et enrichit le dialogue entre le Centre PHI, le public et notre ville.

Playing with optical phenomena such as reflection and diffraction, Myriade chromatique redefines the relationship between the urban landscape, the architecture of the Centre PHI and our gaze.
Offering an impressionistic tableau, this public art installation invites us to appreciate a new facet of the city, deploying shimmering reflections, shimmering colors and a certain reconfiguration of the surrounding architecture.
In constant metamorphosis, our perception of the landscape is shaped by our point of view, encouraging us to seek out new perspectives and discover new colors.
The work incites curiosity, encourages us to interact with art and enriches the dialogue between the Centre PHI, the public and our city.

Aucun superlatif n’est assez fort pour qualifier sa personnalité, tout bonnement sans comparable! Une légende? Sans aucun doute. Cela fait plus de 30 ans que ce showman irrévérencieux et drolatique se produit dans le monde entier avec son seul, unique et intemporel Zoblazo, un rythme qu’il a inventé et qu’il décline à toutes les sauces, au gré des modes. Le chanteur et guitariste de Caroline du Nord, Jake Xerxes Fussell, apporte une voix unique à la musique folk traditionnelle, l’interprétant avec une sincérité rafraîchissante qui n’est ni passéiste ni moderniste. Au cours de sa première décennie en tant qu’artiste, il a tracé sa propre voie musicale, souvent avec l’aide de collaborateurs intéressants et compatissants. Son premier album éponyme, produit par William Tyler, a permis aux auditeurs de découvrir son jeu de fingerstyle distinctif et son approche détendue des chansons traditionnelles de blues et de folk américain. Au fil des années, le son de Fussell a évolué avec des albums comme What in the Natural World (2017) et Out of Sight (2019), révélant une approche singulière empreinte de douce malice et de jeu inventif. Travaillant avec le producteur James Elkington, son quatrième album, Good and Green Again (2022), fut le premier à inclure des compositions originales. Après avoir quitté le label Paradise of Bachelors pour Fat Possum, Fussell a de nouveau collaboré avec Elkington pour When I’m Called, sorti en 2024.

His eponymous William Tyler-produced debut introduced fans to his distinctive fingerstyle playing and laid-back take on traditional American blues and folk songs. Over the coming years, Fussell’s sound evolved with albums like What in the Natural World (2017) and Out of Sight (2019) revealing an idiosyncratic approach full of gentle mirth and inventive playing. Working with producer James Elkington, his fourth album, 2022’s Good and Green Again, was the first to feature any original compositions. After switching from longtime label Paradise of Bachelors to Fat Possum, Fussell teamed up with Elkington again for 2024’s When I’m Called.

Jump Source – composé de Priori et de Patrick Holland – s’aventure en studio à travers les différents courants de la dance music, en se concentrant sur des enregistrements intuitifs de longue durée et pleins d’excentricités. Bien que leurs travaux indépendants diffèrent, la ligne d’influence peut être entendue à travers le catalogue de JS, et à travers leur choix de disques dans le club.

Jump Source – composed of Priori and Patrick Holland – venture through various strains of dance music in the studio, focusing on intuitive longform recordings full of quirks. Though their independent work differs, the throughline of influence can be heard across the JS catalogue, and through their choice of records in the club.
