Ouri – D.C Live Trial
Ouri est une compositrice, productrice et violoncelliste installée à Montréal, dont la musique fusionne héritage classique et expérimentation électronique. Née en France de parents français et afro-caribéens, elle s’installe à Montréal à 16 ans pour étudier la composition, et se fait rapidement un nom dans la scène musicale underground locale. Sa pratique puise autant dans l’orchestre que dans le club, alliant textures synthétiques, abrasion industrielle et expressivité intime du violoncelle.
Ouri is a Montréal-based composer, producer and cellist whose music blurs the lines between classical tradition and electronic experimentation. Born in France to French and Afro-Caribbean parents, she moved to Montréal at 16 to study composition, quickly finding her voice within the city’s rave and underground scenes. Drawing from orchestral training and club culture, her sound is both intimate and expansive—anchored in the cello but propelled by textured synths and industrial edge.
Guillaume Coutu-Dumont & Line Katcho – Les Empires
Guillaume Coutu Dumont et Line Katcho présentent une nouvelle itération de Les Empires, fusionnant synthés rétro-futuristes, rythmes hypnotiques et thèmes mythologiques. Accompagné·e·s de Nicolas Boucher aux claviers, cette performance en plein air au Théâtre de Verdure promet un voyage cinématographique à travers sons et images.
Guillaume Coutu Dumont and Line Katcho unveil a new iteration of Les Empires, blending retro-futuristic synths, hypnotic grooves, and mythological echoes. Joined by Nicolas Boucher on keyboards, this open-air performance at Théâtre de Verdure invites the audience into a vivid, cinematic world of sound and vision.
