Célébrant 40 ans de carrière musicale, la batteuse, productrice et éducatrice Terri Lyne Carrington a commencé sa carrière professionnelle dans le Massachusetts à l’âge de 10 ans.
Son projet actuel, Terri Lyne Carrington and Social Science (formé avec Aaron Parks et Matthew Stevens), a sorti son premier album, Waiting Game, en novembre 2019 , inspiré par les changements sismiques dans le paysage social et politique en constante évolution. Le double album exprime une vision sans faille, inclusive et compatissante des ruptures et des liens de l’humanité à travers un programme éclectique mêlant jazz, R&B, rock indé, improvisation contemporaine et hip-hop.
