Tash Sultana, multi-instrumentiste, autric-compositrice-interprète, productrice et ingénieure, a été surnommé l’un des plus grands artistes musicaux d’Australie. Tash a commencé à jouer de la guitare à l’âge de 3 ans, après avoir reçu un cadeau de son grand-père. A partir de là, Tash a commencé à prendre d’autres instruments tels que le piano/clavier/synthé, la basse, la batterie/percussion, le beatmaking/échantillonnage, le beatboxing, la trompette, le saxophone, la flûte, la mandoline, l’oud, l’harmonica, la lap steel, la flûte de pan et les a arrangés dans des performances en boucle avec un jeu de guitare percutant coïncidant avec une gamme vocale s’étendant sur 5 octaves.
Tash Sultana, the gender fluid multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and engineer, has been dubbed one of the hardest working music exports in Australia. Tash began playing the guitar from the age of 3 after being gifted the instrument from their grandfather. From there Tash began to pick up other instruments such as piano/keyboard/synth, bass, drums/percussion, beatmaking/ sampling, beatboxing, trumpet, saxophone, flute, mandolin, oud, harmonica, lap steel, panpipes and arranged it into loop style performances along with percussive guitar playing coinciding with a vocal range stretching 5 octaves.
