Formé de membres du Darius Jones Trio et de Josh Zubot Strings, fLuXkit Vancouver témoigne du génie de Jones le compositeur. Celui-ci a développé cette œuvre, d’abord commandée par le centre d’artistes Western Front, au fil de résidences de création à Vancouver entre 2019 et 2022. Featuring members of the Darius Jones Trio and Josh Zubot Strings, fLuXkit Vancouver is rich testimony to Jones’s brilliance as a composer. Originally commissioned by the Western Front artist-run-centre, Jones developed the work during residencies in Vancouver 2019-22, activating the immeasurable talents of this astonishing group.
