Depuis la sortie de son premier album primé Another Mind en 2003, Hiromi électrise le public avec une énergie créatrice qui englobe et dépasse les frontières du jazz, du classique et de la pop, portant l’improvisation et la composition à de nouveaux sommets de complexité et de raffinement. Elle a participé à l’album Jazz in the Garden du bassiste Stanley Clarke, récompensé par un Grammy, et s’est produite lors des cérémonies d’ouverture des Jeux olympiques de Tokyo en 2021.
Ever since the 2003 release of her award-winning debut album, Another Mind, Hiromi has electrified audiences with a creative energy that encompasses and eclipses the boundaries of jazz, classical and pop, taking improvisation and composition to new heights of complexity and sophistication. She appeared on bassist Stanley Clarke’s Grammy-winning release, Jazz in the Garden and she performed at the opening ceremonies of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
